EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET is a combination of Repaglinide and Metformin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-diabetic agents. It is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are already managed with Meglitinide and Metformin or who have inadequate glycemic control on a Meglitinide alone or Metformin.
During course of the management your doctor might regularly monitor your blood glucose level and kidney function test at regular intervals to avoid any untoward side effects. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET.
EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with cardiac, kidney or respiratory failure, impaired liver or kidney function, diabetic ketoacidosis, type-1 diabetes mellitus and if you are dehydrated. Before taking EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any planned major surgery.
EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET should not be used in pregnant women and breastfeeding women. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above).

How EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET Works
EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET is a combination of Repaglinide and Metformin where Repaglinide is a meglitinide analogue which increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. This manages blood glucose from rising very high after the meals. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin.
How to use EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET
Take EUREPA MF 2MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water immediately before or up to 30 minutes before the meal. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
