How DUCOF B JUNIOR SYRUP Works

DUCOF B JUNIOR SYRUP is a combination of ambroxol, guaiphenesin, terbutaline, and menthol, where ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that thins and loosens the mucus (phlegm) and makes it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of secretions present in the airways, thins the mucous, and helps in their removal from the airways. Menthol is an organic compound (cooling agent) that produces a sensation of coolness by stimulating the cold receptors and relieves minor throat irritation.
