Introduction About DOLOFORCE INJECTION

DOLOFORCE INJECTION contains Piroxicam, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. It is used in the management of musculoskeletal disorders (injuries or disorders of muscle, ligaments, joints, and tendons characterised by pain, stiffness, swelling, and restricted movements), acute gout (a form of arthritis with severe pain, redness, and tenderness in joints), postoperative trauma pain (pain due to trauma after surgical intervention), and primary dysmenorrhea (sudden cramping pain in the lower abdomen occurring before or during menstruation).

DOLOFORCE INJECTION exerts its anti-inflammatory actions by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase-1, thereby, blocking the release of prostaglandins (a substance produced during injury and inflammation that causes pain and swelling) and other chemical mediators that cause pain and swelling. Your doctor may advise you to take relevant tests before recommending this medicine.

DOLOFORCE INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients with liver, kidney, or heart problems. DOLOFORCE INJECTION is not recommended for use by a pregnant or breastfeeding woman.
