Introduction About CROCIN COLD & FLU TABLET
Crocin Cold & Flu Max Tablet is a medicine that is used to manage and relieve congestion, pain and fever. It is effective for stuffy nose, sinus pain, headache, pain due to sore throat, body pain and chills. It has Paracetamol, Caffeine and Phenylephrine as the active ingredients that aid in relieving pain, fever and congestion.
Paracetamol helps in relieving pain and fever and other symptoms by inhibiting pain and inflammation pathways in the body, leading to decreased secretion of Prostaglandins (the chemical responsible for eliciting the pain response in the body).
Phenylephrine causes constriction of the blood vessels, reducing the nasal swelling that leads to drainage of sinuses, thereby exhibiting its decongestant action. Caffeine supplements the action of paracetamol and aids in diminishing pain sensation.
