COMPLAMINA RETARD 500MG contains Xantinol Nicotinate which belongs to group of medicines called peripheral vasodilator agent. It is used to manage peripheral vascular disease. It helps to dilate blood vessels and improves the blood flow. Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is a slow and progressive circulation disorder. Narrowing, blockage, or spasms in a blood vessel can cause PVD.
Xantinol Nicotinate is a combination of nicotinic acid with xanthine. It works directly on the smooth muscle of small arteries and capillaries. It expands blood vessels, improves blood flow and lowers peripheral vascular resistance.
