Introduction About CODISTAR P DROPS
CODISTAR P DROPS is a combination medicine used in the management of productive cough (cough with mucus) associated with bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchiectasis, and emphysema.
It contains three active ingredients namely, Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin and terbutaline which effectively relieves chest congestion by thinning and expulsion of the accumulated mucus from respiratory tract and makes breathing easier by dilating the airways.
CODISTAR P DROPS is ideal for use in infants and toddlers aged between 6 months to 2.5 years. Follow the dosing instructions advised by your child’s doctor. Before administering CODISTAR P DROPS to your child, inform your doctor if your child has any congenital liver, kidney or heart problems or juvenile diabetes or has a history of seizures.
The common side effects of taking this medicine are stomach upset, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting and headache. These side effects are usually harmless and manageable. However, talk to your doctor if they trouble your child.
