Cipladine Ointment contains Povidone Iodine as an active ingredient which is a broad-spectrum antiseptic.
Povidone Iodine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that penetrates the microbe and oxidizes proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids which causes the death of the microbe. It is effective against a wide range of infection-causing microbes such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses.
