How CILIDIN 5 TABLET Works

CILIDIN 5 TABLET is a vasodilator. It works by blocking the entry of certain ions (calcium ions) within the blood vessels that causes narrowing. As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels and allows blood to flow more smoothly across the blood vessels with less pressure. It also improves blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscles which reduces the strain on the heart, improves heart functions and manages the risks of heart attack or stroke.

How to use CILIDIN 5 TABLET

  • Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily.
  • Cilnidipine can be taken with or without food but taking it at the same time every day helps maintain steady blood levels.
