What CEFOCLOX XL is used for?

It is used for the manage infections such as:

  • upper respiratory tract infection including pharyngitis and tonsilitis
  • acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
  • acute community acquired pneumonia
  • uncomplicated gonorrhea
  • urinary tract infection
  • skin infections

Tell your doctor, if you are taking,

  • penicillins
  • warfarin (used to manage blood clot)
  • antacids
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Swallow medicine whole with a drink of water
  • Do not cut, crush or chew the medicine

If you take more  CEFOCLOX XL

  • If you take more of this medicine, talk to your doctor or go to your nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take CEFOCLOX XL

  • If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, however if it is nearly time for the next dose skip the missed dose
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you Stop taking CEFOCLOX XL

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
