Introduction About CALPOL 500MG TABLET

Calpol 500mg Tablet is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever. It contains Paracetamol as active ingredient used for pain relief.

Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.

Take Calpol Tablet as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.  Swallow with a glass of water, do not crush or chew the medicine. It should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney problem. Inform  your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
