What is BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA?
- BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA contains Ammonium Chloride, Diphenhydramine, Ethanol and Sodium Citrate
What BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA is used for?
- It is used for the temporary relief of the symptoms of coughs and cold. Helps to ease non-productive coughs, nasal and chest congestion, sneezing and runny nose associated with the common cold and itchy and watery eyes

Talk to your Doctor, if you
- are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis
- have glaucoma
- have trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- It is not recommended in children under 2 years of age
- Do no drive or operate machinery while taking this medicine since if you feel dizziness or drowsiness
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
Especially tell your healthcare provider if you take:
- antidepressants
- medicines containing metoclopramide or propantheline
- medicines for manageing epilepsy or fits
- sleeping tablets
- chloramphenicol (an antibiotic)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Shake well before use
If you take more BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA
- If you have taken more than you should, contact your doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA
- If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time for your next dose, do not take the dose you have missed
- Do not take a double the dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking BENADRYL COUGH FORMULA
- Do not stop use of this medicine without consulting your doctor
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.
- dizziness, drowsiness
- euphoria
- nervousness
- insomnia
- tremors
- blurred vision
- skin rashes
- dry mouth
- nausea and vomiting
- stomach pain
- diarrhoea
- urinary difficulty and retention
- constipation
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children
- Store at room temperature of 15-25ºC
