Introduction About BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET

BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET contains Bambuterol which belongs to a group of medicines called Bronchodilators. It is used for the management of asthma, bronchospasm and reversible airways obstruction along with an inhaled corticosteroid which helps reduce the swelling and inflammation in lungs.

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease in which there is difficulty in breathing due to narrowing and swelling of the airways in the lungs. Your doctor might want you to take certain tests prior to the management.

Before taking BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET, tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart disease (irregular heart rhythm or chest pains (angina)), overactive thyroid gland, are going to have a general anesthetic for an operation or dental work, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), intolerant to certain sugar or diabetes.

BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for use in children. The most common side effects of taking BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET are headache, restlessness or trembling. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.

Take BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it with water. Do not chew or crush this medicine. It should always be taken with other medications like inhaled corticosteroids. A. Drug-Drug interactions:

Before taking BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET inform your physician if you are taking any of the following medicine:

• prednisolone (steroid used to manage allergy and inflammatory condition)
• theophylline, aminophylline, medicines containing ipratropium (for breathing problems)
• propranolol (manages high blood pressure)
• diuretics (Ex. thiazide, chlorthalidone) to remove excess fluid from body
• timolol (manages glaucoma)
• epinephrine (to manage severe allergic reaction)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally took too much of BAMBUDIL 10MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately. Symptoms include headache, anxiety, tremor, nausea, tonic muscle cramps, palpitations, tachycardia, low blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmias.
