AZIVENT XL 200 MG REDIUSE ORAL SUSPENSION is used in children to manage infections caused by bacteria and other microorganisms, which include chest, throat, and nasal infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat, and sinusitis.

It is also used to manage ear infections (such as acute otitis media) and skin and soft tissue infections (such as an abscess or boil) and sexually transmitted diseases (caused by Chlamydia trachomatis/Neisseria gonorrhoea) in the affected child.

It contains a medicine called azithromycin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics that works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.

Before administering AZIVENT XL 200 MG REDIUSE ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if the child has diabetes, myasthenia gravis (a condition marked by weak muscles), heart problems, liver problems (such as an impaired hepatic function), and/or kidney problems (such as impaired renal function).

AZIVENT XL 200 MG REDIUSE ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women since it is used only in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). It is also not recommended for use in elderly patients.
