AXYLOX PD 500 CAPSULE contains a combination of Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin, which belongs to the group of medicines called semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotics. AXYLOX PD 500 CAPSULE is used to manage infectious conditions caused by various types of bacteria such as lung infection (Bronchopneumonia, bronchitis etc.), infection in the blood (septicaemia), urinary tract infection, bone infection, wound infection and following a surgery etc. The symptoms of bacterial infection include fever, tiredness, headache, stomach pain, feeling sick or vomiting sensation etc.
Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin work by killing and managing the growth of bacteria by blocking the production of the bacterial cell wall. Before recommending AXYLOX PD 500 CAPSULE, your doctor may want you to take relevant blood tests to understand your existing condition.
