Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • elbasvir and grazoprevir
  • clarithromycin, rifabutin, rifampin (medicines for bacterial infections)
  • foscarnet, ganciclovir, cidofovir (medicines for viral infections)
  • carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital (used to manage epilepsy)
  • diltiazem or similar medicines (calcium channel blockers)
  • warfarin or acenocoumarol (medicines used to reduce clotting of the blood)
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Swallow the medicine with a glass of water
  • Do not crush or chew the medicine

If you take more AVONZA

  •  If you take more of this medicine, talk to your doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take AVONZA

  •  If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, however if it is nearly time for the next dose skip the missed dose
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking AVONZA

  •  Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
