Introduction About AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET
AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET contains Sodium Bicarbonate, which belongs to the group of medicines called alkalizers. It is used for the management of indigestion and metabolic acidosis (a condition in which the amount of acid in body fluids is increased, causing palpitations, vomiting, confusion, nausea, etc.) caused by severe kidney disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, severe lactic acidosis or severe dehydration. It is also used as a replacement therapy for severe diarrhoea and to reduce the occurrence of chemical phlebitis (irritation caused by too acidic I.V. drugs and fluids).
AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET is not recommended for use in patients who have high alkali levels in the blood, low blood calcium levels or low levels of stomach acid. It is also not recommended in patients who have previously experienced heart failure, have kidney or liver problems, seizures, high blood pressure or breathing difficulties. Consult your doctor before taking AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET.
AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET should only be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women when absolutely necessary. AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET is not recommended for use by children. The most common side effects after taking AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET are abdominal pain, flatulence (gas), high blood pressure, etc. Consult your doctor immediately if any of the side effects worsen.

Manage:
- indigestion
- metabolic acidosis (condition in which acid amount in body fluid is increased) due to severe kidney disorder, uncontrolled diabetes, severe lactic acidosis, severe dehydration etc.
- It is also indicated as replacement therapy in severe diarrhoea, for reducing incidence of chemical phlebitis (irritation caused due to I.V. drugs and fluids which are too acidic.

AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET works by increasing plasma bicarbonate levels, which in result buffers excess hydrogen ion concentration and increases the pH and hence relieving symptoms of acidity and metabolic acidosis.

How To Manage Side Effects
Stomach pain:
Try to rest and relax. Eat small meals but take frequently. Keep a heat pad on your stomach. Contact your doctor in case the stomach pain does not improve.

Liver
AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET is not recommended for use in patients who have liver problems therefore consult your doctor before taking AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET.

Allergy

Lungs
AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET is not recommended for use in patients who have breathing problems such as pulmonary oedema therefore consult your doctor before taking AUXISODA 1000MG SACHET.

Heart Disease

- high alkali levels in blood
