Introduction About AMIUR H FORTE TABLET
AMIUR H FORTE TABLET is a combination of Amiloride and Hydrochlorothiazide, which belongs to the group of medicines called Potassium-sparing and Thiazide diuretics. It is used to lower blood pressure in hypertensive (high blood pressure) patients. Hypertension is a condition when the blood flows at high pressure inside the body, which may cause symptoms such as early morning headaches, nosebleeds, irregular heart rhythms, vision changes and buzzing in the ears and may also cause chest pain and muscle tremors in severe cases, etc.
Hypertension can also lead to life-threatening events such as heart attack, stroke, heart failure, kidney damage, etc. AMIUR H FORTE TABLET is also used in the management therapy for heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis with ascites (scarring of the liver caused by long-term liver damage) and fluid build-up.
AMIUR H FORTE TABLET should not be used in patients with Addison's disease, diabetes, diabetic neuropathy, kidney failure, high blood calcium levels, high urea or creatinine levels, severe liver failure or severe liver disease and so on. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have acidosis or systemic erythematous lupus (SLE), inflammation or fluid in the lungs, eye pain, pressure in the eye, poor vision, a high blood potassium level, kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte imbalance in the body, liver disease, high cholesterol, gout, cancer, etc.

How AMIUR H FORTE TABLET Works
AMIUR H FORTE TABLET is a combination of amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide. Amiloride works by acting in tubules in the kidney and promoting the excretion of sodium and water from the body without losing potassium. Hydrochlorothiazide also works by acting in the kidney tubules and promoting the excretion of water and potassium from the body by managing the reabsorption of the water. As a result, it controls blood pressure and fluid buildup in the body.
