Introduction About ALGINA 650MG TABLET

Algina 650 Tablet belongs to antipyretic and analgesic (pain killers) medicine used to manage fever and pain associated with osteoarthritis. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient to reduce pain and high temperature (fever).

Paracetamol acts as an antipyretic as well as painkiller. It works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins in the body, which are responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. As a result, it reduces various pain. It also has a direct action on heat regulating centres in the brain, leading to peripheral vasodilation, sweating and loss of body temperature. Thus, it reduces fever.

Always take Algina 650 Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. It is safer to be taken even during pregnancy and children above 12 years of age.
