What is AKYNZEO?

What AKYNZEO is used for?
- It is used in people to help prevent the nausea and vomiting that happens right away or later with certain anti-cancer medicines (chemotherapy)

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
If you take more AKYNZEO
- If you take more of this medicine, talk to a doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take AKYNZEO
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose
- Otherwise, take it as soon as you remember, and then go back to taking it as you normally would
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking AKYNZEO
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do
Like all medicines, this medicine melt can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- hives, swollen face, trouble breathing, or chest pain
- agitation, hallucinations
- dizziness, muscle twitching (overactive reflexes), or seizures
- headache, weakness, fatigue, upset stomach,
- constipation, and skin redness
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children
- Store at a room temperature of 15-25ºC
