Introduction About ADMAX XT CAPSULE
ADMAX XT CAPSULE is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, and Soya Isoflavones, which belong to a group of medicines known as Vitamin D analogues, Calcium supplements, and Phytoestrogens, respectively. ADMAX XT CAPSULE is indicated for the dietary management of the metabolic processes of bone defects like osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Osteopenia is a loss of bone mineral density (BMD) that weakens bones. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that develops when bone mineral density and bone mass decrease, or when the structure and strength of bones change. This can lead to a decrease in bone strength, which can increase the risk of fractures (broken bones).
ADMAX XT CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients with kidney stones, and it should be used with caution in patients with signs of impaired kidney function. Consult your doctor for advice.
ADMAX XT CAPSULE should be used with caution during pregnancy, if you think you may be pregnant, and in breastfeeding women. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
The common side effects of taking ADMAX XT CAPSULE are headache, stomach pain, nausea, rash, and signs of urinary tract infection (bladder pain, foul smell, cloudy urine, frequent urination). Consult your doctor if the symptoms do not improve.

How ADMAX XT CAPSULE Works
ADMAX XT CAPSULE effectively improves bone strength. Calcitriol increases calcium levels by acting on the cells of the gastrointestinal tract to increase the uptake of calcium. Calcium carbonate is a nutritional supplement that directly increases the calcium stores in the body. Soya isoflavones stimulate the multiplication of bone-forming cells called osteoblasts, thereby increasing bone density.
