What is ADCEF INSTAUSE?
- ADCEF INSTAUSE contains Cefdinir belongs to the class of antibiotics known as cephalosporins
What ADCEF INSTAUSE is used for?
It is indicated for the management of patients with mild to moderate infections such as:
- community-acquired pneumonia
- acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
- acute maxillary sinusitis
- pharyngitis/tonsillitis
- uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
- acute bacterial otitis media in children

Talk to your Doctor, if you:
- are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- have a history of colitis
- have renal insufficiency
- If you are pregnant, or breastfeeding think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- Your doctor will give the right dose based on your child’s age, weight and disease condition
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- antacids (aluminum, magnesium)
- probenecid (used to manage gout)
- iron supplements
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
If you take more ADCEF INSTAUSE
- If you take more ADCEF INSTAUSE, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital casualty department immediately
- Symptoms of overdosage are: nausea, vomiting, epigastric distress, diarrhea and convulsions
If you forget to take ADCEF INSTAUSE
- If you forget to take a dose, take it after food as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose
If you stop taking ADCEF INSTAUSE
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
- vomiting, nausea
- stomach pain
- diarrhoea
- headache
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
