Top Ban Orthopaedic Bandage is an excellent padding for plaster cases. It conforms to body contours perfectly.
Top Ban is also resistant to plaster penetration.
Start applying the orthopaedic bandage from the base of the toes to the knee in spiral fashion with 50% overlap. However, care must be taken not to use too much padding as this will increase the limb width significantly.
To be used under the advice and supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
Used prior to the application of POP bandage & Fiber glass casting tape.
