Introduction About BD ALCOHOL SWAB

BD Alcohol Swabs are thick and soft anti-septic swabs used to prepare the skin prior to an injection (such as insulin). It can also be used for other household purposes. It contains Isopropyl alcohol as the active ingredient that decreases germs in minor cuts and scrapes.

Isopropyl alcohol has disinfecting properties and antibacterial action that denature the proteins in the bacterial, fungal, viral or protozoal cell well leading to their destruction.

Always use BD Alcohol Swabs as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Wipe the injection site vigorously with BD Alcohol Swabs. Do not use it in the eyes or mucus membranes and consult the doctor in case of deep puncture or wounds.
