Vecuronium is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking the transmission of nerve signals from the nerve fibers to the muscles. As a result, it causes muscle relaxation and help you stay still during surgeries. It can also relax the muscles involved in breathing which facilitates easy fix of flexible plastic tube into the trachea during endotracheal intubation.

• muscle weakness or paralysis
• dizziness
• flushing
• pain or irritation at the site of injection (in case of injection)
• redness or itchy rashes of the skin
