Stanozolol works by inhibiting the action of bradykinin (chemical responsible for causing swelling beneath the skin due to sudden accumulation of fluid followed by an injury to the blood vessel) which results in prevention of swelling in arms/legs thus helps in treating hereditary angioedema.

Common side effects of Stanozolol

• hirsutism (excessive hair growth)
• menstrual irregularities 
• signs of hepatic dysfunction such as yellowing of skin and whites of eyes, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting

• In case of accidental overdosage
• If you experience signs of cholestatic hepatitis (drug induced liver injury) with jaundice (yellowing skin/whites of eyes) such as nausea, fatigue, itching and/or dark urine
• If you experience signs of hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood) especially in breast cancer patients such as stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, and/or constipation
• If you experience peliosis hepatis (rare vascular condition of the liver) such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea
