How Solifenacin works
Solifenacin is a muscle relaxant which relaxes the smooth muscles surrounding the bladder. This helps your bladder to hold more volume of urine and controls urine flow. As a result, it reduces the activity of an overactive bladder and enables you to wait longer before passing urine.

- blurred vision
- nausea
- constipation, indigestion, stomach pain/discomfort
- sense of fullness in the stomach, burping, heartburn

- Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to prevent dehydration
- It is best to take this medicine on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal
- Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine. Alcohol can increase the side effects of the medication
