Uses of Serratiopeptidase

Serratiopeptidase is used to relieve inflammations after surgery or injury. It helps to reduce pain associated with sinusitis, dental infections such as pericoronitis, breast swelling and discomfort associated with milk accumulation, and bladder infections.

It can also be used as an anti-inflammatory therapy in inflammatory swelling and pus formation, in addition to antibiotic or surgery, or used alone.

How Serratiopeptidase works

Serratiopeptidase works by dissolving fibrin, reducing inflammation, reducing swelling, and by inactivating Bradykinin (A factor responsible for inflammation). It is able to increase the diffusion of antibiotics and cytostatic agents in tissue.

• if you experience hypersensitivity reaction, e.g. skin rash, redness of skin, urticaria, itching, also breathlessness and swelling
