How Ritodrine works
Ritodrine belongs to ß2–adrenergic agonist which relaxes the uterus by stimulating the ß2–adrenergic receptors of the uterine muscle, which causes a decrease in the intensity and frequency of uterine contractions. It eases the contraction of the uterus and helps relaxing it, thereby preventing premature delivery.
