Ripasudil promotes the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye into the systemic circulation. This decreases the increased fluid pressure in the eyes.

- conjunctival hyperaemia (dilation and redness of eye)
- conjunctivitis (eye inflammation)
- blepharitis (inflammation of eye lids)
- eye irritation
