Uses of Promethazine
Promethazine is used to induce sleep in adults suffering from insomnia (difficulty in falling asleep) and in children aged 2 years or older. It can also be used to treat allergic reactions such as hay fever or skin rashes. It also helps to stop nausea and vomiting caused due to travelling (travel sickness).
