Pidotimod is an immunostimulant which helps to stimulate, enhance and regulate immunity in conditions of immunodeficiency that predisposes an individual to a variety of infections of various organ systems such as respiratory system, urinary system and genital system. It enhances the activity of natural killer cells and activates phagocytosis as well as increases the production of cytokines. It is also known as Biological Response Modifiers due to its ability to modify the body’s natural response aids in getting rid of various infections.
