How Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium works

Pentosan polysulphate sodium works by strengthening and modifying glycosaminoglycans (a type of complex carbohydrates present in the walls of urinary bladder) which provides relief from painful bladder filling and facilitates proper emptying of bladder thus treating symptoms of interstitial cystitis.
