Uses of Oxybutynin
Oxybutynin is used in adults and children (over 5 years) to treat urinary incontinence (loss of control in passing urine) and increased urgency to pass urine. In children 5 years or older it is also used to treat nighttime bedwetting, when other treatments have not worked.

How Oxybutynin works
Oxybutynin works by relaxing the muscles of the bladder and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). This helps in controlling release of urine.
