   Uses of Metformin+Vildagliptin
The combination of Metformin and Vildagliptin is used to treat type 2 diabetes (also known as non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus) in adult patients, whose diabetes cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone and/or with other medicines used to treat diabetes (insulin or sulphonylureas such as glimepiride or glipizide, etc).

Metformin + Vildagliptin helps to control the level of sugar in the blood, where metformin works by helping the body to make better use of insulin and vildagliptin works by making the pancreas produce more insulin and less glucagon.
