The combination of Liquid Paraffin, Magnesium Hydroxide and Sodium Picosulphate is indicated for short term treatment of constipation associated with piles, anal fissure, cardiovascular disorder, hernia, pre- and post- operative condition, endoscopy, for bowel clearance before radioscopy. It also relieves sour stomach and heartburn.

Liquid Paraffin + Magnesium Hydroxide + Sodium Picosulphate helps in treating constipation and relieving acidity where liquid paraffin softens the stools and aids the smooth evacuation out of the bowel. It also eases the pain which is associated with the evacuation of stools. Magnesium hydroxide causes the stomach acid to neutralise and acts as laxative by drawing in more water into the intestines which softens the stools and increases its volume as well. Sodium picosulphate is activated by the bacteria present in the digestive tract. It increases the accumulation of water in the intestine and also increases the movements of intestine. This increased movements leads to feeling of fullness and creates an urge to pass stools.
