How Levocetirizine+Pseudoephedrine works

Levocetirizine + Pseudoephedrine helps to reduce the symptoms of hay fever or other respiratory allergies, where levocetirizine is a H1 receptor antagonist which stops the action of histamine by acting on histamine receptors which results in muscle relaxation, decrease in flare responses and non- activation of cough receptors. Pseudoephedrine is an alpha-adrenergic agonist which effectively relaxes the bronchial muscles and blood vessels.
