How Latanoprost+Timolol works

Latanoprost + Timolol reduces intraocular pressure by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (a type of lubricating eye fluid) in the eye while simultaneously improving its drainage. As a result, it reduces strain on the eyes which therefore reduces elevated intraocular pressure.

Common side effects of Latanoprost+Timolol

• temporary or permanent changes in eye (lens) color
• eye pain or irritation
• burning and stinging of the eyes
• eye itching
• sensation of presence of foreign body in the eye

• Use Latanoprost + Timolol exactly as instructed by your physician. Misuse or overuse of this medicine may lead to unwanted side effects
• If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying Latanoprost + Timolol eye drops or eye ointment and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion
• Along with the treatment, avoid straining your eyes by looking at mobile phones, laptops or television. Wear protective eyeglasses while going outdoors
• Instill a few drops of this medicine into the affected eye(s). Do not touch the tip of the dropper with your eye or with other body surface to avoid contamination
