Uses of Lafutidine
Lafutidine is used for the treatment of gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers and stromal ulcers. It also treats gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, hemorrhage, redness or edema) associated with acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis.

Lafutidine works by blocking H2 receptors (responsible for stimulating acid production in stomach) and increases mucin secretions inside the stomach which leads to decreased acid secretion and promotes healing thus providing relief and promoting healing from gastric, duodenal ulcers, acute and chronic gastritis in affected individuals.
