Glimepiride + Metformin: Antidiabetic agents

How Glimepiride+Metformin works

Glimepiride and Metformin effectively reduces elevated blood glucose levels, where glimepiride acts by making the pancreas secrete more insulin to digest the circulating glucose and metformin acts by blocking the production of glucose by the liver. They collectively decrease the elevated blood glucose levels and makes the body respond better to insulin.
