How Gliclazide+Metformin+Voglibose works
Gliclazide, Metformin and Voglibose works effectively against diabetes. Gliclazide acts by stimulating the secretion of insulin (hormone that signals throughout the body to absorb the glucose and regulates the blood sugar level) through beta cell sulphonyl urea receptors. Metformin works by decreasing the glucose production in liver and increases the insulin sensitivity to absorb glucose. Voglibose inhibits the alpha glucosidases in the intestine and prevents the absorption of glucose from food thereby reducing the blood sugar level.
