How Gatifloxacin+Ketorolac works

Gatifloxacin is an antibacterial agent. When applied topically on the eyes, it kills the susceptible bacteria that causes eye infection.

Ketorolac is a pain-relieving medicine. It blocks the release of certain chemicals in the body (such as prostaglandins) that causes eye pain, inflammation and swelling. Collectively, they act together and prevents eye pain, inflammation and/or infection that can occur following eye surgeries.
