How Flupirtine+Paracetamol works

Flupirtine + Paracetamol is a combination of two medicines, which relieves pain. Flupirtine works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

• Take Flupirtine + Paracetamol exactly as directed by your doctor. Follow the specified dosage and regimen. Do not change the dosage or discontinue the medicine without first consulting your doctor
• Flupirtine + paracetamol can be taken with or without food. Taking them with a meal may help reduce the risk of stomach upset
• Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Flupirtine + Paracetamol as it increases the risk of liver damage
• Do not drive or operate any machines if you feel sleepiness, dizziness after taking Flupirtine + Paracetamol
• It is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in breast-feeding women including certain medical conditions such as kidney disease, liver disease like cholestasis, cirrhosis, ataxia, myasthenia gravis, hepatic encephalopathy and tinnitus
• Before taking Flupirtine + Paracetamol inform your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken prescription medicines, over the counter drugs (OTC), supplements including herbal products as it may interact with each other leading to potential decrease in therapeutic effectiveness or increase the risk of any unusual effects
