Drotaverine + Paracetamol helps to manage pain, where Drotaverine works by inhibiting phosphodiesterase 4 (an enzyme responsible for the degradation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate CAMP), inhibition of PDE4 leads to elevated levels of CAMP and reduced calcium uptake by the cells, leading to smooth muscle relaxation. Paracetamol used to relieve pain by reducing the production of prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord.
