Desvenlafaxine is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSNRI). It works by increasing the levels of certain chemicals (serotonin and norepinephrine) within the brain that elevates your mood and stabilizes mental health. As a result, it makes you feel active and energetic.
