When to consult your doctor

Consult your doctor:

• In case of accidental overdosage
• If you experience nausea, vomiting, sores in the mouth and throat, diarrhoea, stomach pain, hair loss, and red urine
• If you experience, any signs of allergic reactions (such as skin rash, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, or throat which can lead to difficulty in breathing or swallowing)

Health Tips for Daunorubicin

• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and flush the drug out of your system
• Avoid exposure to the sun and direct sunlamps for at least 8 weeks after taking this medicine. Ask your doctor if you need to limit your exposure to bright lights
• Women should use an effective form of birth control while taking this medicine and for at least 6 months after finishing the treatment
