Uses of Cinnarizine
Cinnarizine is used to treat motion sickness (nausea caused by travelling), vertigo (a sense of spinning) and Meniere’s disease (a disorder of the inner ear that causes episodes of dizziness, vertigo and problems in hearing). It can also be used to treat the symptoms caused due to poor blood circulation in the limbs (such as Raynaud’s phenomenon (narrowing of the capillaries of the skin), acrocyanosis (bluish discoloration of extremities), intermittent claudication (pain in legs while walking), painful muscle spasm, varicose veins, cold or numb fingers or toes) and in the brain (such as irritabilty, loss of memory, lack of concentration). It is also used for preventing migraine headaches.

How Cinnarizine works
Cinnarizine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine in the brain and reduce symptoms of nausea and vomiting. It also improves blood flow to the inner ear by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels and helps to reduce dizziness and sickness. It reduces the spasm of blood vessels and improves blood flow to the peripheral parts of the body.
