Chlorthalidone + Metoprolol + Telmisartan effectively reduces the blood pressure and workload in the heart, where chlorthalidone acts by enhancing the excretion of sodium and water from the body and telmisartan acts by blocking the effects of angiotensin II (a substance produced in your body that causes narrowing of blood vessels).
