Also used to treat hay fever or upper respiratory allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose and throat.

Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine works by blocking the histamine H1 receptor and prevents the release of histamine (which normally produces symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose) and Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by acting on the cough centre in the brain.
