How Cefixime+Moxifloxacin works
Both Cefixime and Moxifloxacin works by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis and by blocking the production of certain essential bacterial proteins (such as topoisomerase II, topoisomerase IV) which is required for the bacteria to survive.
Additionally, it can also remain unaffected by the toxic proteins produced by the bacteria. As a result, it destroys the susceptible bacteria and prevent their further growth and multiplication within the body which helps in reducing the severity of the infection.
