Calcipotriol works by inhibiting cell growth and its development without causing any harm to the cell which results in decreased growth of abnormal cells thus controlling psoriatic condition and treating the condition in affected individuals.

- In case of accidental overdose or poisoning
- Signs of hypercalcemia (excess calcium in blood) and hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine) such as increased urinary frequency, excessive thirst, loss of appetite, dry/metallic taste in the mouth, stomach upsets (includes pain, nausea, vomiting and constipation), weak muscles and/or pain in the bones, tiredness, fatigue, confusion, feeling sick and constipation
